I asked them which department they are from so I can call them back of corse they keep repeating there lies.
Tax Scam! Got a recorded message from 061280917801 saying it was a message from the Australian Tax Office & to call 02 8091 7801 to prevent a police officer turning up at my door. I rang the number. He knew my name but when I asked him (Edward with an Indian accent) to verify that he was from the tax office, he started reading a script saying I was the subject of a criminal investigation, there's a warrant out for my arrest & I need to provide details of who would be representing me in court. Not only am I not a criminal but the script made no sense whatsoever. It is obviously designed to scare someone into giving out personal details though. I'm also wary of the scams that are designed to get your voice print saying yes so I only said 'yep' to one question. They haven't rung me back yet so I'll wait for those cops to turn up!
