    Called at 19:05 NFI who they are so didn't answer. Like many others here, if they are not on my list, I don't answer. I have even done away with message bank. Send me an sms or email me and it is MY decision if I want to talk to you. (To be honest I'd rather talk to my dog, she appreciates the attention)

    A “genuine” market survey company, so they say. As distinct from all the other spammers who ring? If so, they are allowed to ignore the Do Not Call Register. Based on the number of complaints here, I don’t want to waste my time with them, so into the Blocked Number list with them.

    This number came up on my mobile phone. I didn't answer, so they left me an audio message of a recorded voice saying "to get your views ahead of the upcoming..." then they hung up. I don't answer my house phone anymore because of these pathetic callers and now they're harrassing my mobile! GGRRR!!!

    Just called me ON A SUNDAY and no message left. Any legitimate company would only call during business hours, so Monday to Friday. I didn't answer the call and have blocked the number as it is a spam call. They also called me back in July. I really don't want to be called on a Sunday unless I have initiated the call!

    I didn't pick up the call because my phone security marked it as suspected spam. They have just called for a second time tonight. Blocked them. I'm on the do not call list too. Dodgy callers have no respect for this.

    Called me at 1030PM. If you ring the number there is an answering message saying they are market research. They leave their contact details as www.Telereach.com. Au but that website doesn’t seem to exist. There’s an email address too but no way I’m emailing them so they can get my email address too.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
