    I got this number calling me and then I came to realization that I made a delivery from Drakes (South Australian grocery chain) so apparently they use Yello to let customer's know that their delivery is here.

    This is not a scam... It was my Woolworths delivery driver, letting me know he was here but my security gate was closed. It shows as a Sydney number, even though I'm in Perth, but this is a computer generated number to protect the deliverer's privacy.

    I’m fairly sure this must have been a Woolies Delivery driver, who got locked in our complex. I saw him and unlocked the gate. I didn’t answer because it was a Sydney landline and I’m in WA.

    It was the delivery guy for my Woollies online order, odd because I'm in QLD and it is an 02 number, probably a contractor not actually Woollies.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
