Hi, Thank you for all your posts it helped me to decide to put this number on my list of calls to reject on my mobile. I keep getting 2 calls in the last 2 days from this number and they hung up on me when I answered. Today they try to call me again, but I didn't answer them. I am a Westpac customer and got a mail out about a new credit card deal they wanted me to sign up for. Yesterday I got a call from this number trying to get me to sign up to this deal. I contacted Westpac to confirm if this was legitimate and they confirmed that they have outsourced this activity to the company Peakbound and I was listed as being contacted by them. So this appears not to be scammers (some might argue overly aggressive marketing).

I have been recieving about 2-3 calls per day for about a week from this number and finally answered today. Was from "Westpac" wanting to talk about offers and he knew my address (suburb and street name) which is concerning!. He asked for my full address to confirm my identity. I explained I thought it was a scam and Westpac wouldn't ask for personal details over the phone. He then hung up, seemed quite suspicious.

Much like everyone else, I have started receiving calls from this number during the day. I've missed the calls both times. When I try to call back, there is no option to speak to anyone. Yep, I too am receiving calls from this number. As soon as I pick up, it hangs up/disconnects. I suspect picking up charges your phone, so I suggest ignoring all calls from this number. You don't want to rack up a scary phone bill ;).
