Could hear call centre chatter in the background.
When I said hello, the caller didn’t reply.
I said hello again and the caller hung up.
Block this number if you are not interested.
They are calling about solar panels.

I said they were fine and I was actually getting credit in my bills.
Told me I was a liar and no one ever really gets credits.
Am sick to death of being called by telemarketing companies on weekends, particularly as I’m supposed to be on a do not contact list.

The woman who’s name I couldn’t work out asked me a question regarding solar panels and when I went to answer her question, she then became rather abrasive and spoke over me.
I cut her off and said “you’ve just asked me a question, now if you want me to answer it, then stop talking over me”
I then went on to say I had solar panels and there was no need for us to continue with this conversation.
She called me a liar and said I didn’t have solar panels.
I was going to continue to argue with her, but then decided I had better things to do, so decided to hang up and then blocked the number.
Saturday afternoon telemarketing call.
When I answered, there was a lot of chatter in the background - like a call centre.
I had to say hello 3 times before “David” acknowledged me.
His heart did not appear to be in it as the conversation went like this:
Me: hello?
Me: hello?
Me: hello?
Him: hello, umm, how are you?
Me: ok.
Him: I’m ahhh …. I’m David.
Me: oh ok.
Him: this call is about solar panels and batteries.
Me: ok.
Him: do you have them.
Me: yes.
Him: ok thanks, bye.
Then he hung up.
Probable scam. When I did not speak they hung up immediately.
