Scam call…. Tried to tell me NAB owner by Citibank has taken over bank of Queensland and want to discuss a matter but wouldn’t tell me the matter until I handed over details.
BOQ are franchised so falls in a hole there already.
It is NAB (on behalf of Citibank, who they recently acquired) chasing up repayments. If you have any financial services with them, then this is obviously why they are calling you.
Called again today, Saturday. Asked for my real name but the call was bad and she said she was from National Australia Bank. Told her banks don't call on a Saturday, I don't have dealings with NAB and to scam someone else. She hung up.
28 Calls in less than 2 weeks. Up to 5 Calls per day, starting from 8am. No Voice Message left and when I answer I get a robot woman telling me all representatives are on another call and to hold.
If these callers are legitimate and would simply leave a message then all this would bad publicity would stop. I have no idea who they are so best thing to do is assume they are scammers. Blocked.
This number called me after my ex, I told him that I will leave a message to him. This guy named David stated that he is from NAB bank wants to talk about my ex personal stuff.1300 301 531 is also a scam number! Confirmed with my ex, he doesn't have account with NAB..
It is Citibank. They have their fingers in a lot of pies. In my case they’re ringing about my Virgin Mastercard, but they’ve rung me three times today alone and never leave a message. So technically I don’t know who it is and have blocked them. They can send me a letter.
I just received the same call. No message left. I don't answer unknown numbers. Does anyone know of this number?
