Received a call from a robotic voice speaking Chinese—definitely sounds like a scam to me! Don’t fall for it, folks!
The voicemail I received contained a robotic voice stating, "epidemic emergency notice, press 1 for Australian, press 2 for Chinese." It seemed strange and suspicious, so I chose to block the number.
I let a call from this number go to voicemail, and the message left was unintelligible. The speaker was Asian, and I could not understand what they were saying.
The caller claimed that our Telstra bill had not been paid and that we needed to pay immediately or face service disconnection.
