I received a call from these guys. The girl who answered told me I had registered for a voucher (I hadn't) & then she attempted to identify the place where she was calling from. After several attempts I still could not make out which business it was and then she hung up on me.

I suspected this number belonged to a call center as the caller took a few seconds to respond when I answered the phone. Then there was the unmistakable background noise of a call center and the caller did not identify himself or the business he was representing but asked if I was a particular person. I told the caller there was no one here by that name, and he promptly hung up. I expect there are trawlers out there scamming unsuspecting people for nefarious reasons. A pox on them.
I never answer calls from unknown numbers. After reading the comments here, I'll never answer calls from this one.
I've got a call from this no. also. I forgot the name of the company but she mention a promo item like iPhone? The caller is an indian accent and I don't know how they got my no.? This is a spam, I blocked it.

Was getting 2 missed calls a day and after about 4 days of it, I blocked this number on my iPhone and now I've been getting missed private number calls every day since, seriously wish they would f*** off!!

Just answered a call from this number. Very crackly line and a while 'to connect' ?? He said that I was eligible to participate in a survey which would then give me an entry to a competition... Then as part of the conditions of the survey they ask you to agree to the sponsors and affiliates contacting you by email, mail or phone. At this point I said I wasn't interest and continued asking him to remove me from the call list. As I was still talking, he hung up!!
I got 6 calls from this number today, I did not answer. I then called them and could not hear anything on the line but crackly noises. They just called me again, I answered putting myself on mute and there was silence.
I also got three call from this number today. No messages have been left. Will be blocking this number after reading these comments.

I got a call from some indian saying.
I entered a competition to win $15000. He asked something about my details and about me completing a quick survey. I told him not so politely to go away and he simply said 'oh, ok'.
Recently Entered what I thought was a legit competition on Facebook. Since then this number and many others have been calling up to 15 times a day and been receiving countless emails as well. Spoke to a guy called Sam telling me I had won a $500 voucher for Woolworths. Only the competition never mentioned it. I knew then it was a scam and asked for his details and company name and he said this number was a Sydney based company and was hazy on the name but supposedly they have been a prize company for last 3 yrs in Sydney. I hanged up and blocked the number.

This number has called 4 times in one day, first at 2am.5am.1pm, and now 7pm.
When answered they hang up or won't leave a message.

I cannot identify with certainty the actual source of this number but I believe it is one of those annoying call centres which mindlessly call numbers at random. I have received a number of calls from this number on my private mobile which is only used for emergencies and is registered on the Do Not Call list. It is very upsetting when these people do this because they could be blocking an emergency call from my family members. Beats me why these numbers cannot be simply blocked by Telstra.1142.
