They call me every single day. They never leave messages. I keep telling them to stop calling me. At all hours of the day or night.
They're in South Africa. Calling me allegedly associated to Life & Essentials magazine? Never heard of it, but something to do with a competition. Suffice to say it's now blocked.
Spam.
Another spam number. Block it.
I too have received calls from these numbers. I answered it in the beginning. It transferred me to a line that started ringing - so I hung up. I get calls as much as 3 times a day.
I've received calls from the following three numbers over the past fortnight.

Tonight I tried ringing all three based on the comments on this website ----.
02 8015 6908 starts off with a voicemail message by an Australian sounding female voice announcing that the company is ringing because of _____(the recording goes fuzzy), then the voicemail message appears to either cut out or drop off and then I heard a telemarketer named Michael making a call to someone in the background (again, not clear what the purpose of the call was due to poor recording)..the call then cuts out...
When I tried dialling the other two phone numbers listed above, neither phone number rings.
I had a missed call from 02 8015 6908 today. I used my work phone to call the number and it had an automated message saying it was from a (inaudible name) competition. Someone answered and asked for the mobile phone number I was calling about. I asked who they were and they told me an online competition company. I told them thank you and goodbye.

I have been getting calls almost daily from one of these these numbers since 1st April 2015. I don't know anyone in Sydney so just ignore them. They never leave a message so I have assumed its some sort of scam. Its annoying!

Yes, I have started receiving calls from 61280156908 and 61261885154 as well. It appears that whoever this mob is, they may be using a dial up system. Telemarketing and Sales generally use it. At certain times throughout the day, their calls can get out of sinc because the calls are coming in faster than they can answer. Therefore, the call is lost in the system and by the time we answer the call, there's no-one there. It may then go through a second cycle and be lost again.

I have been getting calls everyday from these people saying they are from a competition company, I block one number and they call me from other, so far I have had these numbers all from the same company call me.

I received a phone call from 02 8015 6908 and answered. The caller hung up after 7 seconds without saying anything.
Quite bizarre as I answered the call as I would any other usual call.
