    I keep getting calls from this company about 'trading on the market' I have told them time and time again for the past six months that as far as I'm concerned and as far as my religion it is gambling and I am not interested. I have told them time and again to erase my details from there files, I have also threatened them with legal action but they keep on calling. I have been called twice in the past 24 hours and when asked were they were I was told by a Filipino speaking female that she was calling from London and when I asked about the Sydney number the came up on my phone she hung up. If anyone finds where these people let me know so I can sue the for harassment.

    I got two calls within 10 mins and just added the number to my'reject' list. I explained I don't take marketing calls and am not interested. The lady with the Latin-American accent abruptly replied "Why not?". I hung up immediately, realising they weren't going to give up.

    I just got a call from this number too.

    But I didn't answer as it was a random number from Australia and I don't know anyone there so thought it was weird then researched it on Google and this came up with the exact same number.... Who was it, did you talk with them.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
