Surely someone in authority can trace these calls that leave a number (I have caller ID on my phone so retrieve the number of it is not a private one).
Is there not some law enforcement/legal entity to stop these pesky probably scammers?

Received a call from this number 7.30 pm Wednesday 1 July 2015 from a caller who identified himself as "John" - had an Indian type accent but the line then when into engaged tone before any further conversation proceeded - pain in the neck and why can't something be done about these nuisance of what appear to be scams. I too am on the do not call register?????
A caller from this number claimed to be from some lending agency telling me about the reserve bank lowering interest rates - claimed to have all my mortgage details - a load of BS!
