Received a very obviously fake scam email claiming to be from PayPal, saying I'd been charged for an iPhone. Very amateur wording and poor attempt at looking like a PayPal email. Also sent from a free Gmail address - PayPal doesn't email from one of those! It says here's this big charge you've never heard of but if you have any questions just call this local number. PayPal do not have a number to call, AT ALL!

The thing is, I've received an email like this every day or two for a week now. With a different number every time to call (because they keep getting reported and banned I guess). So we're supposed to believe we're getting charged for another iPhone every day? Yeah right. These guys are scum but they're incompetent idiots too.

Since you can call it this is an actual number in Australia but it's still Indian scammers, as usual.

This number appears to be a scam. It purports to come from PayPal, an account I do not use. The email address on the supposed PayPay letterhead is spurious.
