Fairly elaborate scam. Identified themselves as fraud dept at Mastercard, asked about 2 transactions made today that had been flagged as possible fraud: 1 x eBay + 1 x western union. Gave further details and said they would block the payments. Supplied a phoney name and a case number and transferred me to supposedly my local bank to continue the process. Initially had phone prompts to (press 1 for this.2 for that etc) and then got through to someone else who asked for case number. Then asked me to confirm my name and DoB but had to confirm with me the spelling of my name (the first caller actually knew my name already, so nothing too bad given away so far). Finally started to smell a rat so suggested I would call them directly - scammer offered me this number to call back on. Now I'm here.
