02 8006 7907.

Just received a spam / scam email about having some money deducted from some account I have with the email's sender.

All crap. The email was sent to an email address I set up years ago which has no link to any accounts I operate.

Therefore, the number to be called I strongly suspect is an illegitimate (spoofed) local number, and it is high highly likely to be a scam to obtain your details.

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER. It was included in an email falsely claiming that I have a Norton account, which I do not. The email states they will deduct $365 from my account and provides the phone number (02) 8006 7907 for help or to halt the transaction. Be cautious - this is a fraudulent attempt.
