I received an unusual request via PayPal from someone named "Donald Dent," asking for a payment in Bitcoin. The number given was claimed to be PayPal's fraud hotline, but I confirmed it was not an official PayPal number. I have reported this incident to PayPal.
Had a call from a guy claiming to be from the Government who stated I was owed a considerable sum of money from over servicing fees from Banks and service utilities.
I was also informed to call back on 02 80064252 to claim my cheque. I would speak to either Maria Williams or Paul Edwards and yes it is funny how they had Asian accents.
Asked for cheque and when I did I was told I had to pay a one of Solictors fee of $255 what a scam wonder how much they have made so far.
Yep just called me too.

This is a call back number for a financial scam. The number is most likely not a Sydney number but a Skype internet number !

Recieved the exact same call same names used to contact for a chque to be mailed to me. Ladt with acent who was incrediably hard to understand asking for information then informing me to contact ALAN JACKSON/ MARIA EDWARD her managers .

The same thing that happened to Sam happened to me. Definitely scammers.
This number appears to be from some scammers, they say they are a govt department. When I rang them back to ask more questions, they hung up. They mentioned the names Alan Jackson (sounded Indian to me) and a Mary Edwards.
