Just got a call asking me to call back the number and got told that I was getting $6325 from the government. I called back and it was the same as the person above. I was asked to send $240 via Western Union to an overseas lawyer because the Australian Government apparently had to hire this overseas lawyer because it was such a delicate subject! When I told the person on the phone that this was complete bu*****t he hung up on me! Fancy that!
Definitely a scam. Claim to be from federal government and want to give you $6325 from bank overcharging you fees on purcahses. They then want you to call 0280062332. When you ring they say to send money they need you to pay $250 for the Lawyer in China via Western Union transfer and then will send you cheque. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I also got a similar call and I didn't return the call.
Got a call from a person claiming to be from the Australian Government and I was owed over $6.000. Did I want a direct transfer or a cheque? I said a cheque, she confirmed my address and asked my DOB which I gave. She then gave me a ref number and I had to call one of two supervisors on the above phone number, she was very insistent that I do it straight away. I haven't done that. If it was legitimate they would have put it in my account already as they have my details!
