Via a voice message left which was a recorded message.
Yesterday the same message but the phone number was.
02 8006 1092.
If anyone else wants to you can report this number to the police and they will deal with it.
SPAM...Recorded message.. Australian Federal Police re my Tax and they are putting out a warrent for my arrest...etc..DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE.
Received the call from these guys, warrant for arrest, don't ignore, reference number..... Just wondering what they are after if you call them back. Made me laugh but I hope no one falls for it.
Received a call today from 02 8006 1429 stating he was from ATO. He quoted a reference number to quote when phoning back. Said that warrant would be issued if I did not contact ATO.
I phone ATO scam line. They confirmed that call was bogus.
DO not return the bogus call. However do register the call with ATO scam line so that the police can build a case against the scammer.
Received a voice message today.25th Oct 2017, very aggressive and threatening, they said they are from ATO and are going to commence legal proceedings against me (but they didn't mention my name). They said I was to ring them on 02 8006 1429. Posh, well spoken accent.

Received call from this number, stating I have a warrant for my arrest for tax evasion and found out that the actual ATO number is in fact different to this hoax number.

States it is the Australian Federal Police and there is a warrant relating to Tax Evasion. Total scam, got the same call last year!! Called back last year and messed them around a bit for a laugh. Tried again today but no answer!
Received a call from this No. Saying that it's the federal police and mad threat to take the matter to court and to arrest me for Tax related isuue. Obviously it was a scam.
Received an automated call from this number saying it was the Federal Police calling about tax evasion. I recognised it as a scam call and hung up just as they were giving a phone number to call. Our calling number display showed 02 8006 1429.
