It’s a scam and pretended to be a call from ATO. It’s a recorded call. Simply hung up and block this no.
Do not answer this is a scam posing to be from the ATO.... It is an Indian gang purporting to call you on behalf of the ATO telling you that you have an outsatanding debt and that they are about to begin legal proceedings. IGNORE and do NOT give any details!!!
Computerized voice telling me I've been issued a lawsuit.
Just received a call from this number lol.
Just got the same message in the same robotic/American voice saying a lawsuit was being filed under my name, but speaking in really unprofessional terms, so clearly a scam. Just deleted and ignored.
Left a message stating that they have a lost suitcase under my name. Obviously a hoax since I haven't lost any bags. Not sure what they are trying to gain.
Robocall Australian Tax Office “arrest warrant” scam. Hang up. Do not call back.
Scam call. Tells you that they need to "issue an arrest warrants (sic) under your name".
I received a message from this number saying if I don’t call back a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I don’t even live in NSW. The message was left by one of those computerised voices. It was definitely dodgy and someone trying to scare people into some kind of scam if you answer or call back.
This is a robotic message saying a law suit is being created in your name and to call back. Obviously a scam, but thought I would try hide my number and call back to see how they went about it. There was no answer, maybe because they couldn't see the number to track me on. Would avoid anyway, if there was a law suit, I'm sure I would have been contacted in another way! Pathetic theives...
