I received a fake email claiming to be an invoice with a suspicious attachment. I have reported this incident to Scam Watch for further investigation.
The scammers are using two phone numbers so far,02 8005 6908 and also 02 7259 3979, claiming you are going to have $449 or $409 deducted by PayPal for the purchase of a BTC (?) but if you want an instant refund call these numbers for customer service. It is a phishing scam to get your bank account details.
I received an email claiming that $409.99 would be deducted from my PayPal account. This clearly seems like a scam, especially since it came from someone named Alfonso DrewP.
