Scam caller pretending to be PayPal.
I received a scam email that was designed to look like it was from PayPal but was not legitimate.
Overseas call centres (Indian/Pakistani) scammers(male & female)using various phone numbers to scam people regarding the 'CAR ACCIDENT':
1) 02 - 9642 3962 (phone ringing... Scammer did not pick up the phone!!!).
2) 02 - 8005 6506(phone ringing... Scammer did not pick up the phone!!!).
3) 02 - 8006 9645 (phone ringing... Scammer did not pick up the phone!!!).
4) 02 - 9476 6959 (phone disconnected immediately!!).
5) 0415 427 885 (phone disconnected immediately!!).
The scammers hung up the phone when I told them....."Your'OWN FAMILY'had a car accident, will report your number to the police, you are scammer!!!".
Got a call from this no today, they ring bout 1x a month. Told them if they call me again about an accident I haven't been in, I will report them.
Got a call today from foreign speaking person saying they were calling from an accident info site.
Got a call twice in one day, possible spammers.
