Just another scammer at it again. Seriously, these guys need to get a real job!
My aging father got a dodgy call yesterday arvo from some "Patrick Kayden" claiming that this Mr Ahmed Hoffman tried to pull $630.25 from his bank today. Then, he handed the phone to some "Andrew Williams" from the Anti-fraud Squad to "help fix the issue," saying there were over 25 other similar cases! Sounds a bit fishy to me.
I received a call from someone pretending to be from the Federal Police Cybercrime section, who provided a number for me to call back. This is likely a scam, so please be aware.
