    No message was left, but checked this site only to find it is a scam pretending to be Amazon. Currently working through a late delivery from Amazon right now. I would hope Amazon would be aware of this and take appropriate action against them. I never answer an unknown caller anyway. If important and genuine they will leave a message or email.

    A poorly spoken person with broken English called me madam and muttered something about "Broadband". It sounded like they were calling from a busy family household with lots of other relatives in the room. I said it was noisy and they blamed it on co-workers, but then raised their voices to tell them off before hanging up the phone on me.

    Rec'd call advising my "free trial" period for Amazon Prime has ended & was asked if I want to continue or cancel. As I don't have an Amazon Prime membership, I advised to cancel it. Caller then confirmed my mobile number, but could not tell me the name on my alleged account. Caller (she - I'm didn't catch her name) asked if I have an iPhone or Android phone or a computer or laptop - any device that could access the internet from as she needed to send me a code and link to use. I said I only hav.

    Scammers claiming to be Amazon Prime. Will be charging my credit card $99. This call centre, when you answer, they ask you what its about. So I would guess they have many scams going with this phone number or with other phone numbers that is directed to the one call centre.

    My phone message was an automatic renewal for Amazon Prime. I had to enter www.anydesk. Com to get them to put the money into my account. When I opened it, it said it was a free trial, I told them I was not joining anything, and would not give them my bank details and to take my number off their list.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
