What Our Users Reviewed
I received a call from someone claiming to be about my Telstra NBN internet connection. When I explained that I hadn’t had internet access for several months, the caller hung up. This raises suspicions about the legitimacy of the call, suggesting it may have been a scam.
Useless Indian scammer by the name of “Harry Osmond” said he was from credit card company and that two debits had been made to my account by a “Robert Bell” in Boston USA for $245 to Amazon, and $800 to Cable Online Money. When I asked what dates those transactions were put through he just said “Tuesday”. I asked him to tell me the specific dates and after pretending he couldn’t understand or hear me, he eventually said 5/1/24. Tuesday was 2/1/24. Said his “employee number” is SIP7702. He was about to put me through to my “bank” to deal with it and wanted me to tell him (for “security”) which bank I was with. I told him he should know as he’s from the credit card company that supplies the card to my bank. At that point I called him out as a scamming c#nt, asked him how he sleeps at night, and told him and his mates in the background to go fk themselves.
