I've received three calls from this irritating number as well as other similar numbers that differ only in the last two digits (02) 7257 88**. My advice is to block them!
This number appears to be conducting cold calls trying to sell hot water system upgrades. I suspect this is an unsolicited marketing effort.
I was informed by a person with an accent that my PayPal account had been compromised with a charge of $299.39, which is not true. They instructed me to open an app to block an overseas number, which sounded suspicious.
