Had a so-called 'Telstra' bloke ring me up asking for details about my network issues – funny thing, I don’t even have them as my provider! I told the bloke to get a real job, and he lost it, swearing like a trooper! Guess I touched a nerve!

I received a call at 8:27 AM on a Saturday. I chose not to answer, but they left a voicemail. The message was delivered by a horrible, robotic female voice with an American accent. I want to note that I’ve never had an account with the Commonwealth Bank, and if I did, I would reach out to them using a verified customer service number. I'm frustrated with these persistent scammers who should find honest work instead of preying on others!

They just called me at 9:09. I did not pick it up as I know too many scam calls are coming this days. I waited for them to leave avoice mail first which read: Your Commonwealth Bank credit card had been declined for a $120.40 transaction and the card has been blocked. It then tells you to call a 1300 number (1300 480 873) to discuss. I can't do that.

Had a call this morning at 7:30 am from this number. It was an automated voice message left saying that my Commonwealth Bank credit card had been declined for a $120.40 transaction and the card has been blocked. I am not with Commonwealth Bank nor have I ever been so this is 100% a scam. It then tells you to call a 1300 number (1300 480 873) to discuss. DON'T get sucked in by this!! Be careful if you are with CBA - it is fake!

I was contacted by someone claiming that I had made a purchase, which my card had been declined for, and they had subsequently blocked my card. They urged me to call 1300 480 873 to unblock it. However, I had not made any such purchase, and none of my credit or debit cards are blocked. This appears to be a scam.
