Received a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. Indian accent, claimed his name was Raoul Sharma. Sent a verification code to my phone and insisted on me to give it to him so he could block my email account until I set a new password. I refused to give him number and plan on contacting Microsoft Sydney when they open on Monday (he rang on a Sunday)

Strong Indian accent who claims his name is Jack. Says he’s calling from Optus Technical Support and asks for feedback. I asked if it is a customer experience survey, he said yes. I told him I have not interacted with Optus Technical Support and I have nothing to comment. He hung up. This is very likely a scam.

Got a call from this number claiming they're from Optus. They have my name & address and try to send me a 1 time passcode through my mobile. Claimed they're upgrading my "Account" for better internet and 5g (very vague. When I asked them to verify the business name the account is registered to, they don't know and keep insisting that they're "upgrading" my account. Called Optus and they verify that no one contact me from their end.
