I received a call from this number that I suspect is a scam. The caller claimed that my Telstra internet was either attacked or hacked, but their English was very poor. They really need to improve their calling script!
I received a call from this same number but chose not to answer it. I later searched online and found information about this caller, which reassured me that I was right to ignore the call. It seems that this kind of call is a waste of time for myself and possibly for others as well.
I received a voicemail with a recorded message about PayPal security. Since I haven’t used PayPal in a while, I believe this call is a scam.
Caller said he was from the commonwealth bank and wanted me to download an app to be able to block hackers I didn’t I told him I will speak to my bank directly then I hung up.
