My phone identified this call as spam, so I have blocked the number to prevent further contact.
Same as the others. After a similar call just a few minutes earlier from a female voice via a mobile number alleging she was from the Commonwealth Bank Cyber Security Centre (duly reported), a Male caller, also from a call centre, allegedly "Michael Edwards", called from this landline stating he was calling from the "Security Department of the Commonwealth Bank".
When I repeated his name and told him he had the wrong number, he hung up.
Obviously I have blocked this one also and reported to Australian Government website Scam Watch.
Just received a call from this number - 0272538346. Claim to be from Comm Bank. I know straight away this is a scammer when he said about a transaction from overseas.
Claimed to be from Commbank calling about a fraudulent transaction but then asked me to download an app so that they could block the transaction.
This number is used by a scammer, kept ringing, no conversion or message.
