The callers are relentless and will not take no for an answer, akin to a terrier clinging to a dirty sock. I find their persistence very frustrating.

I answered the call. A lady thanking me for supporting an organisation l had never heard of. I asked her to repeat it several times but still didn’t catch it because of her accent. She said there was a final draw for the year and if ld like to purchase tickets. It sounded genuine, however she became pushy saying she had my email, home address, credit card details she just needed the 3 digits on the back of my card l became sceptical. I told her l was driving and l didn’t feel comfortable purchasing anything over the phone. She told me she didn’t need the 3 digits anyway. Total scam!!!! Be careful before it sounded genuine.
