This number has called me twice today alone, and I have flagged it as a scam for several years due to my previous experiences.
An individual with an Indian accent claimed to be from Telstra, asking questions about my internet service. I provided only one-word answers, and he eventually hung up on me in frustration, which I found amusing.
The caller was pretending to be from PayPal’s claims department. They knew my name but did not provide any other specific details about my account.
The caller falsely claimed that someone other than me had made two payments using my Visa card. They requested sensitive information from me to "solve" the issue.
The caller claimed to represent Vodafone, but I am not a customer of theirs.
