This is definitely a scam! I received an automated message that was pretending to be from eBay Security, stating that my account had been hacked and instructing me to press 1 to speak with an operator. It’s incredibly frustrating and annoying!
Just had a call from this number claiming they are from National Broadband Network wanting me to fix a problem with my internet. Sure good try.
The caller inquired whether I had made a payment of $300 to the US using my Commonwealth Visa card. When I mentioned that I do not have a Commonwealth account, they immediately hung up. This appears to be a major scam attempt!
