"Michael" from the "Commonwealth Bank" telling me an amount of $400 odd dollars had been sent from my account to an overseas account at 9.15 this morning. I don't bank with CBA. He hung up before I could have too much fun with him.

Just got a scam call from this number claiming to be the Commonwealth Bank doing me a favour because I transferred $499 overseas to a Mr Milan in California and that I had to cancel this transaction ASAP. I told them they were a put on and a scam and they just kept on insisting that they were authentic and started providing me numbers from the headquarters in Melbourne and this call was being recorded. They weren't phased with all my counter challenges (to see how far they would go) and were more determined and persistent so I just hung up on them.

The caller said that I had a suspicious money transfer to Western Union USA addressed to someone named Robert Brown and that they wanted to transfer me to my bank for verification. When I declined, she became angry and hung up on me.
