The automated call I received asked me to press 1 for English and 2 for Chinese services. This is clearly a scam targeting Chinese people living abroad. If you respond as Chinese, they proceed to falsely inform you that your visa is about to be revoked.
This number is associated with a scam that primarily targets overseas Chinese individuals. The callers randomly dial Australian numbers, which might confuse local Australians, but their specific target is overseas Chinese. They typically inform these individuals that their visa will be revoked by the Immigration Department, creating unnecessary panic.
Received a missed call from this number yesterday, no message was left. Checked here first, as most likely a Scam won't be calling them back. Blocked the no.

Received 2 calls from 0272383681 within a couple of hours. Did not answer & no message was left. Blocked this number.
Just received a lady on the other(sounded like from an Indian call centre & there’s echo and delay) She claims to call from NAB about funds being tramsferred illegally to Canada. I told her she’s a scammer & hung up! Block this number and do not entertain!
Received two calls within an hour from numbers in this number range. First was pretending to be from PayPal Security Department, I told him to I knew it was a scam and he hung up. Second call from another operator from PayPal security. I told him I didn't have a PayPal account so he switched to Commonwealth and Westpac security. Told him I didn't have them either and he hung up.
Have had 2 calls today, first from 02 7238 3614 and second from 02 7238 3681. No message left and on phoning back, both numbers are disconnected.
