I just answered a call from this number and the man said he was from Telstra, calling about my modem changing from private to public and do I have access to a browser. I said I'm not with Telstra and typed the phone number into Google which came up as a Scam, which I suspected. I said well I've just typed your number in to Google and it says it's a scam and he hung up.
I think this number may be a scam, voicemail talked about suspicious transactions and to press 1 to speak to visa representative.
This number repeatedly calls me from different phone numbers each time. It's becoming quite annoying!
This is a scam call. It was an automated message claiming to be from Visa. Interestingly, I had received a call from a very similar number only 40 minutes earlier: (02) 7238 3131.
