Male caller wanting to send cleaner to home, asked me to confirm address, pushed solar panel and driveway cleaning services, started yelling when I said no
Indian male, very hard to understand. Lots of talking in the background. Said was from some cleaning company. Went to talk over me as I said I wasn’t interested. Hung up on him and blocked the number.
How are these NOT scam calls?
It’s Friday afternoon, Public Holiday (Good Friday - which is the most important day of the Christian calendar) and I get a call from number.
I answered and a male with indian sounding accent calls about cleaning services.
The male claimed to be calling from Melbourne, however I highly doubt it due to the caller saying they don’t observe the Easter holidays. He even got argumentative when I mentioned it was a Public Holiday!!!
There was a lot of chatter in the background, so I dare say he was sitting in a crowded room with many other telemarketers.

Introduced himself as Jordan from ATS Cleaning.
Called me by a name nothing like mine, so knew this to be a telemarketer.
When I said I wasn’t the person he had addressed me by, he then said “while I have you, maybe you would be interested in having someone come and clean your solar panels, appliances, air conditioner, bathroom to name but a few” (clearly read from a script)
Said I was fine, but he became more insistent.
I then hung up on him.
Seriously!?!?! This is the second call (different person & different number) that has called me from A T S Cleaning on the past 20 minutes! And right on dinner time too!!!
Had a missed call from this number. Checked here first before calling back.

Guy with indian accent calling about cleaning services. Said I don’t need them. He then raised his voice and yelled that I don’t know how to clean solar panels properly. Don’t know why he had to mention solar panels and if I clean them properly or not as he didn’t even ask me if I had them or not.
I could hear a lot of people in the background talking.
Block. Block. Block.
Male caller. Indian accent. Call centre noise. Said he was calling to organise a cleaner to come to my house. I said “what do you mean you are sending a cleaner to my house, I didn’t ask for one” he said “well it’s a good thing I called, I can book you in now”
I asked where he was going to send this cleaner to, and asked if he knew my address. He said he didn’t but they were local to Melbourne. Told him I was no where near Melbourne. He said “sorry I didn’t mean all the cleaners were from Melbourne, he got a bit confused as that is where he was located (I don’t believe that) they have remote vans and can drive to my house”
Not interested. Then said if I listened to what else he had to say, they could offer more cleaning services. Again said not interested and hung up.
Indian telemarketing call. Said he was manger of cleaning company called ATS Cleaning. Sounded a bit dodgy as he was clearly in a busy call centre environment. Was hard to understand but think he said his name was Jordon. Their cleaners could clean anything from kitchens, bathrooms, driveways, air conditioners and solar panels. Told him not interested and he then sounded agitated, saying we are the best ever cleaners.
I hung up at this point and blocked number.
Received a call from this number. Noisy call centre background. Male indian caller said his name was Jordan and was calling from “a very good cleaning company” who could send someone to do my cleaning. I asked if the “very good cleaning company” had a name. He then paused and said “ATS Cleaning” and could send someone to clean anything in my house from kitchen appliances and my driveway.
He said they were a local company and I asked where were they located. His response was “we are right here, in Hunter Street, Melbourne”
I said I live no where near that area (I live in Sydney but did not tell him that), so he said “we can send a van to your remote location” to which I replied “do you know where I’m located?”
He said “no, but if you tell me, I can organise a can to go to your home”
I told him he is about the 8th person from “ATS Cleaning” to have called me in the past 2 weeks.
I could hear desperation in his voice and he said “please give us a chance”
I then hung up and blocked (yet another) number from callers claiming to be from “ATS Cleaning”
They called me today whilst I was at work wanting to sell me cleaning products, I hung up and blocked.
Scam caller - wants his visa to be revoked.
