Four contributors have reported persistent harassment from Francom debt collection using 02 7234 1802 (also written as 0272341802) and a network of rotating phone numbers. The reports describe systematic calling patterns designed to bypass caller ID blocking, with one contributor documenting that Francom has used over 100 different numbers spanning ranges like 7234 0100 through 7234 0200 and beyond.

Contributors on the Do Not Call Register continue to receive calls from 0272341802 and associated Francom numbers despite formal registration. What Callers from 02 7234 1802 Do

Reports about 02 7234 1802 indicate Francom uses caller ID spoofing to disguise the true origin of calls. One detailed contributor account states that Francom "has the ability to make it look as though their number comes from anywhere in Australia from Sydney across to Perth", suggesting sophisticated phone number masking technology.

The calling behaviour described in reports about 0272341802 appears automated, with one contributor identifying the pattern as robocall activity generating millions of calls daily. Contributors report that even after blocking 30 numbers linked to Francom, new numbers appear within days or hours, indicating the organisation cycles through phone numbers as a deliberate harassment strategy rather than using the same contact number repeatedly.

Report Patterns and Timing

All four reports about 02 7234 1802 were submitted on 28 January 2026, suggesting a spike in Francom activity on that date. Contributors describe ongoing, long-term harassment from this organisation - one report references "the past" when Francom "would reuse a particular number", indicating this harassment campaign has spanned months or years.

One contributor's detailed account of 0272341802 and associated Francom numbers emphasizes the sheer volume: "I have blocked maybe 30 numbers linked to them but they invent numbers faster than I, or anyone, could possibly block them." Another notes having blocked 100+ consecutive numbers in the 7234 0100-7234 0200 range alone, indicating Francom maintains access to entire number blocks allocated through their provider, netsip-pty-ltd in NSW.

Data Collection and Privacy Concerns

One comprehensive report about calls from 02 7234 1802 raises concerns about how Francom obtained contact details. The contributor states: "My assumption is also that my information, such as phone number, name, general location, specific address, possibly income level, and spending habits are being sold by this company to anyone who will buy it." This suggests potential on-selling of personal information by Francom without explicit consent, a practice prohibited under Australian Privacy Principles.

I consider this organization to be a scam organization in the sense that they continuously, repeatedly, call my number without invitation, any desire on my part, any reason other than some sort of unwanted sales solicitation even though my numbers are on the do-not-call register. I have blocked maybe 30 numbers linked to them but they invent numbers faster than I, or anyone, could possibly block them. In the past they would reuse a particular number but after learning who they were and after I now block every number they invent they now create new numbers nearly every time they ring me. They have the ability to make it look as though their number comes from anywhere in Australia from Sydney across to Perth. My wish would be that they pay me at least $1,000 for each attempt to canvass me or otherwise irritate me by causing me to look at my phone to see yet another unrecognized number, check out the number on this site and then delete the number and block it. If it is illegal for aggressive debt collection agencies to repeatedly ring and irritate people why is it not illegal for these parasites to do likewise. Only money penalties will end their persistence and I would suggest a penalty of at least 100 million dollars if the ACCC, the Telecommunications Ombudsmen, or other oversight agencies that have teeth can and will address the issue of these type organizations doing harm to Australian society. My assumption is also that my information, such as phone number, name, general location, specific address, possibly income level, and spending habits are being sold by this company to anyone who will buy it to attempt selling me something. I have not given my permission for this, or any other company, or group to use my personal information or to ring me for any reason - to my knowledge - and if I may have done so inadvertently in some way, I hereby revoke that permission. I have no doubt that this particular company is generating millions of calls and irritating millions of people in exactly the same way they are doing to me; this is only a numbers game for them. Please report this number and any other number used by this organisation connected to them to the proper authorities for the purpose of ending their existence on this planet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do Francom keep calling me if I'm on the Do Not Call Register?

Contributors report that Francom continues calling numbers registered on the Do Not Call Register despite it being illegal. Debt collection agencies are permitted to call about existing debts, but only if you genuinely owe money to a creditor they represent. If you do not owe a debt, the calls violate the Do Not Call provisions. Report ongoing calls from 02 7234 1802 to the ACMA at acma.gov.au with dates and times. Multiple complaints about the same number strengthen regulatory action.

Why does Francom use so many different numbers like those between 7234 0100 and 7234 0200?

Reports about 0272341802 and the associated number ranges indicate Francom uses rotating phone numbers to evade caller ID blocking. One contributor documented blocking over 100 sequential numbers from the same range. This suggests Francom deliberately cycles through allocated numbers as a harassment tactic. Using multiple numbers from the same provider (netsip-pty-ltd in NSW) to circumvent individual blocking is a known robocalling technique, as noted in one report identifying 02 7234 1802 activity as robocall harassment.

What should I do if Francom calls claiming I owe a debt?

Do not provide any personal or financial information to callers from 02 7234 1802 or other Francom numbers. Instead, hang up and contact your creditor directly using a phone number from an official statement or their website - never use a number provided by the caller. If you genuinely owe a debt, legitimate debt collectors will send written notice. Contributors report that Francom's persistent calls to Do Not Call registered numbers without valid debt reasons constitute harassment, which you can report to the ACMA.

Can I block 02 7234 1802 permanently?

Blocking individual numbers from Francom is ineffective long-term. Reports document that after blocking 30-100 numbers, Francom generates new ones from the same or adjacent number ranges. Your phone's blocking feature can block 0272341802, but Francom will likely call from a different number within their allocated range. Instead of blocking individual numbers, contact your phone provider (netsip-pty-ltd handles this number) to report the network-level harassment, and lodge complaints with the ACMA at acma.gov.au about the provider allowing systematic robocall abuse.

Is it legal for Francom to spoof caller ID to show different Australian locations?

No. One contributor's report about 02 7234 1802 specifically notes that Francom makes calls appear "to come from anywhere in Australia from Sydney across to Perth", which is caller ID spoofing. This practice violates Australian Consumer Law and Telecommunications Act provisions. Report this behaviour to the ACMA when lodging a complaint about 0272341802, and provide examples of the false caller ID information shown when Francom called. Spoofing strengthens the case for regulatory action against the provider and organisation.

How do I stop Francom from selling my personal information?

One detailed report about calls from 02 7234 1802 raises concerns that Francom may be selling personal data (phone number, name, address, income level, spending habits) to third parties without consent. Under Australian Privacy Principles, you can request Francom cease using your information. Send a written privacy objection to Francom stating you do not consent to your data being sold or used for telemarketing. Also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if Francom refuses or continues. File your complaint about 0272341802 on Reverseau so others understand the full scope of this organisation's practices.
