THIS IS A SCAM CALLER. Claim to be collecting debts on behalf of legitimately named business but do not have my actual details only my phone number. Not sure if you only require a phone number to open an electricity account but seems like a scam to me. I thought this type of stuff was illegal.
They’re back. Expert scammer claiming I have outstanding debt with electricity provider I’ve never used at address I’ve never lived at but have my phone number. I see to have found my way onto their weekly call sheet. So how is this legal? I guess it must work or they would not be running the scam. Beware.
Got a dodgy call from this number claiming I hadn’t paid my Energy Bill, insisting they needed to collect the money! Said they took on the debt like it was some sort of charity! Blocked them straight away.
