If you've received a call from 02 7225 5565 / 0272255565, you're not alone. A wave of user reports has surfaced regarding this number, indicating that it is likely connected to an unsolicited telemarketing situation from a business called Precision Connect. Here, we delve into the nature of these calls and provide guidance on how best to manage them.
Suspicious Nature of the Call
Most users describe their interaction with this number as a source of annoyance rather than legitimate business communication. Common patterns emerge from the reports: the number frequently calls without leaving a message, igniting frustration among recipients. This behaviour suggests that it is not an ordinary call but rather part of an automated calling system aimed at promoting services or charities.
The Precision Connect Connection
One of the most detailed reviews identified that an automated message was played when the caller was returned. It mentioned that the call was made on behalf of a charity partner, suggesting a fundraising effort by Precision Connect. However, the automated nature of the responses along with reports of missed calls has led many to view these interactions skeptically. Users reported blocking the number after their experiences, which is a common safety measure for suspicious calls.

What Our Users Reviewed
Missed call, number not known to me, did not return call, BLOCKED, DELETED.
Got a call today, ignored the call then called the number back. Automated message played stating I was contacted by a business called precision connect on behalf of one of their charity partners and that their operators are now currently all busy. Potentially not a scam instead just an unsolicited call via some kind of charity connect business where my number was added to some kind of list. Otherwise most likely a spoofed business number. Hard to say. Hope this helps.
Someone called and mentioned they are from Amnesty International and started talking as if someone is reading a script. I had to disconnect & lock as I am not sure if this could be a scammer recording my voice responses.
This number continuously calls me throughout the day but never leaves a message. It's becoming very frustrating.
