This caller pretended to be from Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, which appears to be a scam attempt.
Definately a scam call. Saying will bill to our account but addressed to "undisclosed recipient"
Hubby missed a call from these people. He rang them back, they said they received a call from our number a couple of days ago. Hubby isn’t much interested in talking on the phone but he heard them talking about e-bay cards. He said it wasn’t us and hung up. I rang them back a while later to see what their scam was. The foreign man to whom I was speaking said I’d contacted the head office of e-bay Australia. I told him that he’s a scammer and informed him that I’ve passed their number on to the Australian Federal Police. They may now go and change their number, so expect more calls, but from a different number.
Scam caller left a robo message on my voicemail couldn't understand it called number back they said it was eBay and that I had purchased a eBay gift card from my phone number and they suspected it was fraud and that I had paid via credit card I quizzed him a bit and he hung up on me.
This number called me saying they are from eBay and asking if I made a $200 eBay gift card transaction. I said no, asked what phone I was on and to go into my App Store and put in info in order to transfer me to fraud department. I said no and I’ll ring eBay direct and he hung up. FRAUD!
Just received a call from this number 02 7208 9072, rang for 3 seconds and when I answered the phone they hung up. I'm assuming it a scam call and I don't intend to call back.
