I received a voicemail in Chinese, which when translated, stated: "Hello, this is the New South Wales Tax Office. We are trying to contact you to confirm some information regarding your tax account. Please return our call as soon as possible at (02) 7202 3130. Thank you." The original audio recording of this message can be found here: files.catbox.moe/j4ik9h.wav

I received a suspicious text from the number 0401 663 383 stating, "Your Westpac Protect SMS Code mobile number has changed to XXXXXXX3889. Unexpected SMS? Call (02) 7202 0703." I do not have a Westpac account, and I find this message highly dubious. I have blocked both numbers as I believe this is a scam attempt.

I have received numerous calls from the same phone number, (02) 7202 0703, as well as several calls from random 17-digit numbers, both during the day and night. They also called from Victorian and Western Australian numbers shortly after their NSW call. When I expressed my intention to report them to the police, the caller responded angrily, asking, "Why don't you want to listen and use our service?" This seemed very unprofessional, and the caller had a strong Indian accent. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I do not recognize this number (02) 7202 0703, and they keep calling me, which is really annoying. I don't answer any calls from numbers I don't know. If it were someone I knew, they would leave a message, but this number never leaves one and continues to call.
