I had this number come up on my mobile phone last Tuesday. As I didn’t recognise the number I let it ring until it rang out.
As others have indicated on this site the call originates from the Chinese Embassy. The switchboard for the embassy ends in 3999. One can only wonder what they are up to.
Got a call from this number on 3/04/2018 at 12:34 pm. A scam call as they were speaking Chinese. This is the second time this number has called me, the last time was 3 days ago in the morning.
I also received a call today (31 Mar) at 11.39am from this number. It is a recording message in Mandarin. The content seems saying that it is a call from Embassy of China ..........
Received a call from this number at 9.18am Thursday 29 March 2018. An automated message from a woman speaking Mandarin or Cantonese played for about 30 seconds then hung up.
