Today I got a call from 02-6216 8872 and 02-6611 5085, lady with an Indian accent said She's Anna Joyce and her Batch ID is 517J2772, from AFP, said you have ATO outstanding balance of A$6711/- and your warrants have been issued, if you don't pay rite now then it will be $96K, and 5 years jail term, continuously intimidating and harassing over the phone, then for the payment options, she transferred the call to one of her chinese accent AFP officer and he said this is very serious offence and confidential matter, never disclose the information to anyone, while he is on call, I have to go to the bank take out $7000/- in cash, then remit this money via Auspost to either China or India, then they will resend it back to Australian Taxation Office, the arrest warrants were hold for 45 minutes only. It was clearly a scam when they asked me to send money overseas. Well, it was a great teamwork by all of them.
