This number left a message claiming to be from the ATO. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a very well known scam, they are not the ATO.

First appeared as a number from the USA (+1(262)161-903 and then a second call from 02 6216 1903 shown as Canberra ACT. Ignored both calls.

Received a call from this number, heavy Indian accent, identified themself as officer Mark Wilson of the taxation office...?? That I owed money to the ATO and that the police had a warrant for my arrest, could I confirm my personal details, so this matter could be cleared up...

Licht

Received a call but I didn’t answer.

This is a fake ATO phone service. They pretend you are behind payments and you should click "1". I'm guessing it then takes you to a call centre that asks you for a payment. Please just hang up.
