02 6190 8044 - presume a scam - line supposedly a Canberra number? Digital recording - female Australian dialect voice. Voice heard part way through message (missed first part of dialogue) suggesting it could be programmed on a type of auto ring?? Message suggested call for refund - who, what, why, where, when missing.

Scam. Bad robotic voice. Missed the start due to voicemail message but as follows.

"99.99 cents and the same will be debited from your account automatically. If you want to cancel..." *blah blah*

Just received a robo message to advise $0.99 was being debited from my account. Invited me to cancel by pressing some numbers or speak to their operator. If it sounds like crap, probably is crap. Bye Bye...

I received a missed call from this number and decided to call back. The caller claimed to have the last four digits of my mobile number and alleged that I had been mistakenly charged $299.99 for an eBay purchase I never made. I suspect they were trying to gather my bank details, so I hung up to protect my information.

I just got a call from (02) 6190 8044, and it was an automated voice message demanding that I authorize a payment of $299.99 to eBay. It instructed me to press 1 if I wanted to respond, but I hung up immediately. This was definitely a spam or scam call since I haven’t made any recent purchases on eBay, nor has my family. I'm also baffled as to how they were able to reach me on my work TEAMS account.

This is a spam call. The caller attempted to impersonate an official agency, claiming that I owed money. It felt like a nuisance as they pressured me for information.
