I suspect this is a scam. I received a recorded message that claimed to be from Vodafone's Call Centre, stating that my customer data was incomplete, and that my account would be suspended if I did not respond.
I received a message offering some kind of allowance and it included a link to "movingcompensation.top." A check on this domain shows that it does not exist, making this a clear SCAM.
Suspicious - multiple calls, silent on answering.
Had 10yr old data on me, which they had purchased from a company called Ember Lead Generation - who intern stole it from a data breach. Company then hung up on me when I asked to speak to their call centre manager.
Blocked the number.
Greeted me by name said a consultant had spoken to me about software already. I hung up.
Said I have spoken to another of their consultants about online trading software. I hadn't. Trying to sell products and have called my number a few times which I have now blocked.
Rang 2 pm 31/5/21 greeted me by first name said we had already spoken to a consultant but hard to understand male possibly Indian accent. Told him I was having trouble with his accent and would put him onto my husband. Wouldn’t answer my husband and hung up. A lot of Indian sounding voices in the background.
Indian lady greeted me by my name and said I had received a call from one of their consultants, I didn't let her finish. I hung up.
Kept silent.
I picked up the phone but stayed silent. They hung up without saying anything .
