I had same experience today... Receive a robot call from the number which then diverted to a person with the same name mentioned earlier claiming to be from ATO. Very similar story. He knew my home address. I asked for the details to be emailed and they agreed. I called back later and asked about the email and to confirm the address - they were unable to advise my email address.
They also threatened someone would be calling to my house in 24 hours... Named a female (some name like Lucinda/Lucy Green) and advised me to get a good lawyer and would see me in Court.
It's a hoax pretending to be from the ATO. One of the guys called me a "smart witch (with a b)".
Called this morning- ATO scam- 'James Winston'.
I just received a call from (02)6188 6081 with a recorded message saying something about them being from the ATO and to contact the Dept of Public Prosecutions urgently. Tried to call back several times but number was busy. Checked the DPP website - no such number. Googled the number and found other people have had similar calls from this number and that it is a scam.
This is 100% a scam claiming to be the ATO!!!!
