What Our Users Reviewed
This is a total scam, one of our elderly clients received a phone call saying that she was owed backpay from Centrelink and should had received a letter back in January but then proceeded to tell her that she had to provide them with a $200 iTunes card and that a fellow would be around the following day at 4pm to pick it up. Total scum bags!!
My mother received an automated call from them earlier in the morning, asking her to take down this number and call it back. When she did, they then began asking for details, claiming they were from Centrelink and that she had been underpaid for over a year. Hung up on them. Completely a scam, do not call them back.
I just got a call claiming they are from Centrelink telling me because I had not responded to any of their online letters and emails that my payments have increased but due to my not responding, my payments have been suspended and I have to report to head office in Canberra to re apply for an application for payments I was given and automated number to call which was - 02 6188 5628 and the caller was calling from number - 03 6437 2749.
Recorded message stated that they are CENTRELINK, that pension payments have been increased, that you are entitled to back-payments if you call them back with an application number.
DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER.
Centrelink does not call you at 10pm at night offering you money. They don't give, they take.
