Rang this number back, broken English "ATO". He asked for my name & address? I thought best I wait for ato to phone me back. Immediately hung up on me. Most definitely a scam of some description. Never give your details to these f sticks.
Called by this number late today 18/2, stating they were ATO and a warrant had been issued and wanting me to pay back my tax rebate. I answered that this isn't the normal way of dealing with tax errors. I argued a lot and eventually he got really rattled. I decided it was better to hang up.
Same here. I check for correspondence form the ATO etc and nothing. I call back and the line by busy - lucky me. I can't remember but I think they did not mention my name ever in the scary recording. Judging by other comments, I can only conclude this is a scam.

Just received a call from this number, a recorded message telling me that there is a warrant for my arrest. So, I called the number back from a landline and it was answered by Office Daniel Brown. When I laughed about the arrest side of things he advised me that it was my choice to ignore it .... idiots!!!

I received a call from this number today. There was a really dodgy recorded message saying that it was the Australian Taxation Office and that if I didn't call them back I would have an arrest warrant issued.
Just for a bit of Fun I called it back...... Well what an "amateur Hour" scam operation it was. The guy couldn't speak hardly any English and the phone line sounded like it was on Mars. I asked him who he was and he said I am the ATO. I said "aahhh No you're not! You're a scammer aren't you?" He told me to go and "F" myself and I told him the same! Hilarious!!

I just received the computerised Voice Message played when I received the call from the same number. It claimed to be from ATO, call the number or will issue arrest warrant. I am assuming it to be one of those pirates who dares not to come up and face the wrath.

Received an automated voice call from this number 18 Feb 2019 @ 10.49am. Stated they were the ATO and that court proceedings were eminent, blah blah.
This number is an automated voice purporting to be from ATO in regards to an imminent lawsuit against recipient.
