Received two calls from this number with a recorded message claiming to be from the Tax office and saying I owe tax and could be arrested. Scam.

Fraudulently claims to be the Tax Office.
This number has called me many times on my work phone. Decided to call it and see what the problem is. The person had very broken English and claimed to be calling on behalf of the ATO. Unfortunately, I was silly enough to provide my previous address and my full name. Hopefully, they are not attempting to steal my identity.
They stated they do not work for the ATO however have been contacted by ATO to contact me due to suspicion on criminal activity against my Tax File Number. After arguing the fact that I never heard from ATO myself, the discussion got a bit tense.
Once I said I will notify ATO myself, the gentlemen yelled at me saying they're not a telemarketer. Threaten to either deal with this in court or outside of court. And hung up on me.
Scam.... Is a recorded message purporting to be the Australian Taxation Office, suggesting you are guilty of tax avoidance and a warrant for your arrest is in existence. Asks you to call the number back.
I had a call from this number and they pretended to be the ATO, they ended the call when I called back and I asked them if they are the ATO. Also, I have contacted ATO from the official website and they reported a scam report for me.
