My 17 year old Daughter received a call from this number claiming to be the ATO the voicemail proceeded to say she had an arrest warrant out for unpaid taxes. My daughter doesn’t even hold a tax file number. The Indian male claims to be Mr Roy Miller badge number 105829. Scam caller blocked number.
Just got an automated call to say I owe money to Tax office, That they have audited me and as I can't be contacted, my arrest warrant has been issued. How interesting! I am long since retired and don't owe tax.
Called to say he's from the Taxation office and I have been audited and own the Tax office $2.900 and if I don't pay immediately the police will come and cancel my drivers licence and they will freeze my house and bank accounts.
I phoned backed and confronted him and he hanged up on me.
Today I got call from this number and they are real Tax Office number.
